Keg Washer Position Open

Track 7 is looking for a hard-working, dedicated individual who is ready to join the Track 7 team as a keg washer. There is no job too big or small at our brewery that doesn’t directly impact the quality of our product. We are seeking an employee who would like an entry level position in the production side of beer making and is able to keep up with the demands of our packaging team by prepping kegs and maintaining cleanliness in the coolers as well as in the warehouse. Reports To: Cellarman III
FLSA Status: Non – exempt

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Wash exterior of kegs with brush and soap.
  2. Use keg washer to clean and sanitize interior of kegs
  3. Following Track 7 protocol for keg management*
  4. Assisting in warehouse management, maintenance and organization*
  5. Maintaining a clean work environment*
  6. Responsible for repair and maintenance on keg washer.*
  7. Have an understanding that each team member’s job directly impacts and affects the next job in line*
  8. The ability to be a team player and eventually anticipate the needs of the packaging crew*

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one or small group situations to customers, clients or other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:
No computer skills required.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and no prior experience required.

Employee must be able to use a pallet jack and fork lift.

Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
We are looking for a hard worker who is able to take direction well. This person needs to be able to work as a member on our team and understand how each job directly affects others. They need time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks according to the needs of the cellar team.
