Just in time for Halloween, we’re rolling out a grown-up version of our favorite trick-or-treat: the peanut butter cup. Our original Nukin’ Futz Peanut Butter + Chocolate Porter was such a hit, we couldn’t resist experimenting with a golden version of this Track 7 staple. Golden Nukin’ Futz Peanut Butter + Chocolate Blonde Ale has all of the rich, creamy nuttiness as the original, but without all of the dark malts. Don’t let its sunny marigold color fool you, however, you still get serious chocolate aromatics from the cacao nibs we’ve generously infused into it.
There are many parallels between brewing and music, and like an old song, a great beer can just as easily take you back to a moment in time. Three Chord Beer lays down a simple hop progression that is both beautiful and catchy; the Amarillo, Galaxy, and Citra hops evoke the 3 chords: Am, G, and C, as they strum across your palate. This Northeast-Inspired Double IPA pours a hazy, flaxen yellow with aromas of citrus and a touch of passion fruit and dank resin. Flavors of citrus, grapefruit, and a pithy bitterness combined with a dry, hoppy sharpness give Three Chord its pleasant edge.
Berrylicious Kettle Sour Stout with Black Currant + Raspberry lures you in with an aroma of sweet currant and mild earthy tobacco notes, then finishes with a raspberry tartness. Ripe currants lead the berry dance party with a faint trail of raspberries and blackberries in tow. For a sour, it has a softer tartness on the palate highlighted by subtle roasted malt body from a variety of dark malts.
