Dust off those lederhosen and break out your dirndl!
We're gearing up for Natomas Oktoberfest with a little brewery pre-party at our Natomas taproom on September 17 in collaboration with BeersInSac! Here are the pre-party details:
EAT: Arlington Brothers will be in the house serving delicious sausages, soft pretzels and beer cheese made with Track 7 beer!
DRINK: Tracktoberfest, our annual Oktoberfest Marzen, is BACK just in time to party! Did we mention we'll fill your own stein?
COMPETE: Grab your stein and start practicing! Track 7's California Steinholding State Championship qualifier is a competition you won't want to lose! Winners in both men's and women's category will continue on to compete in the California State Steinholding Championships at Natomas Oktoberfest on October 1, with the chance to move on even further to compete at official Oktoberfest in Germany!
Register online BELOW or sign up day of the event. Check-in and same day registration begins at 4pm, women's division competition begins at 5pm and men's division competition begins at 5:30pm.
CELEBRATE: Celebrate the sounds of Oktoberfest with a live performance by the Sacramento Swing Collective from 6pm-8pm! In addition to their incredible swing classics they'll be blessing our ears with traditional Bavarian tunes throughout the evening.
How to Compete and Win:
1. The competitor who can hold their stein with proper form (as described in the rules below)
for the longest without being disqualified by the judge will be considered the winner.
2. An infraction of any rule will result in a strike being issued by the competition judge. After
two strikes, the third strike results in immediate disqualification of the competitor.
3. If any amount of beer spills or drips off of the stein, the competitor is disqualified, regardless
of the number of strikes previously assigned.
4. Once the match has started and the competitor has extended their arm, they may not set
the stein back down, switch hands, or touch the stein with their off-hand to make any
adjustments to grip.
